License Proof (licenseproof.online) is operated by Active Life Hub LLC (“we”). By using the website or API you agree to these terms.

What the service does

License Proof queries publications of professional and occupational licensing authorities and reports what those publications say about a license, with the source, the query and the time of the check. License Proof does not issue, grant, renew or revoke licenses, is not a licensing authority, and is not endorsed by any authority whose data it reads.

Nature and limits of results

• Results reflect the official publication at the time of the check. Publications are periodic exports and may lag the authority’s own system.
• NOT_FOUND means no matching record was found in the source; it is not proof that a person or business was never licensed. SOURCE_UNAVAILABLE and UNABLE_TO_VERIFY state that no status could be established.
• Normalized statuses, confidence levels and explanations are our interpretation; the authority’s original wording is always included and prevails.
• Results are information, not legal advice. For decisions with legal consequences, confirm with the issuing authority.
• License Proof does not provide consumer reports and must not be used as the basis for a decision about a person’s eligibility for employment, credit, insurance or housing.

Payment

Verifications are paid per request with x402 in USDC (0.018 USDC at the time of writing; the current price is always returned before payment). A payment authorization is settled only when a determinate result is returned. Results SOURCE_UNAVAILABLE and UNABLE_TO_VERIFY, unsupported requests and quotes are not charged. Blockchain transfers are final; if you believe you were charged in error, contact us with the verification ID and transaction hash.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to harass, stalk or profile individuals.
• Do not attempt to overload the service or the public registries behind it.
• Respect the terms and attribution requirements of the underlying public data.

No warranty; liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for errors or omissions in source publications or for decisions made using results, and our total liability for any verification is limited to the amount paid for it.
